Configuration of user notifications

With this configuration, you can configure and administrate reminders and weekly reports for your users.

Reminder:
Reminders for the users that an open task (approval) is waiting will be sent by e-mail.

Weekly summary:
This summary is sent to the users by e-mail every Monday.The summary contains the open tasks (approval) according to the configuration.

Note: In the upper part of the configuration you set the default values, these will be automatically applied to each new user. In the lower area you get an overview of all active users, in this overview you can adjust the reminders and weekly summary for each user.

Set Default Configuration Reminder/Weekly Summary

Open the configuration interface:

  1. Open the company settings (main menu/client).
  2. Select Notifications
  3. Click Notifications.
  • If you want to enable e-mail notification for each new task for each user by default, enable Notification of new tasks by e-mail.

    Note: Users can disable this notification if they don’t want/need it.

  • If you want each user to receive a weekly summary of their open tasks (Approve) by email in the default configuration, enable Weekly summary (overview of open tasks).

    Note: Users cannot disable the delivery of a weekly report. This can only be done by users with admin rights in the configuration of each user.

  • If you want users to receive a reminder for an open task (approval) by default, specify after how many days the reminder for an open task should be sent. Entry number of days at Default Reminder 1 in Days (Open Tasks).

    Note: Users cannot disable the delivery of Reminder 1 . This can only be done by users with admin rights in the configuration of each user.

  • If you want users to receive a second reminder for an open task (approval) by default, specify after how many days the reminder for an open task should be sent. Entry number of days for Default Reminder 2 in Days (Open Tasks).

    Note: Users cannot disable the delivery of Reminder 2 . This can only be done by users with admin rights in the configuration of each user.

Changing the configuration for individual users / managing notifications

Open the configuration interface:

  1. Open the company settings (main menu/client).
  2. Select Notifications
  3. Click Notifications.

Under the Default Configuration overview you will find User Configuration. Here you can see a list of all active users and their current configuration of notifications.

You can adjust the configuration for each user individually.
Then click on Save.
