Responsibilities during the approval process - Approval with tasks

Add tasks to your approval process. Define who is responsible for the maintenance of the target account or maybe even for the complete accounting. If you use cost centers, this task can also be fixed. Transparent responsibilities that can no longer be missed.

Create a new approval process with tasks

  1. Open the company settings (main menu/client)

  2. Select Approval processes

  3. Click + Add Aproval Note: This button is always placed under all existing workflows on the left side

  4. Enter a name for the worfklow

  5. Add the first step by clicking + Add Step

  6. Enter a name for the first worfklow Step

  7. Select the configuration and users of the first step (Example user x needs to approve)

  8. Click Approval step 1: Required fields

  9. You can choose between different options here. For example, you can specify that the Target account should be maintained in this step or that all accounting tasks should be fulfilled, so that the accounting status must be green. If you use cost centers or other custom fields, you can also select them.

  10. Click Save

Add tasks to existing approval processes

  1. Open the company settings (main menu/client)
  2. Select Approval processes
  3. Search the approval processes
  4. Click Approval step x: Required fields below the approval step at which a task is to be completed
  5. You can choose between different options here. For example, you can specify that the Target account should be maintained in this step or that all accounting tasks should be fulfilled, so that the accounting status must be green. If you use cost centers or other custom fields, you can also select them.
  6. Click “”Save””
